The 2017 Consumer Food Safety Education Conference, January 25-27 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC, will focus on behavior change — the heart of improving food safety practices at home and at work.

Confirmed keynote speakers include Dr. Lou Atkins, Centre for Behaviour Change, University College, London, a co-author of The Behavior Change Wheel;  Frank Yiannas, Vice President of Food Safety for Walmart and author of Food Safety = Behavior.  The conference will close on Friday, January 27 with keynote speaker Charles Duhigg, Pulitzer prize-winning reporter for the New York Times and author of The Power of Habit.

The conference is the place to network and engage in collaborative dialog with health and food safety educators from federal agencies, non-profit organizations, higher education and the food industry.
